Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Men
  • Age 62 or younger
  • elevated apolipoprotein B levels
  • coronary atherosclerosis
  • family history of coronary heart disease.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • diabetes
  • severe hypertension
  • cancer
  • liver disease
  • thyroid disease
  • kidney disease
