Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Chronic creatinine clearance \</= 40cc/h
- Pre-operative cardiac surgery
Exclusion
- Pre-operative ongoing dialysis
- Nausea and vomiting
- Uncontrolled glaucoma
- Allergy to metabisulfite
- Enrollment in another clinical study within 30 days
- Pregnancy
- Acute renal failure
