Inclusion

  • Adults over 18 years
  • Expected length of stay \> 48h in intensive care unit
  • Informed written consent

Exclusion

  • Cerebral death
  • Care limitation
  • Neutropenia
  • Documented MRSA on admission
  • Patients receiving antistaphylococcal topical antibiotics on admission
