Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Patients with chronic hepatitis C and persistently normal liver enzymes
- able to give consent
Exclusion
- decompensated liver disease
- any prior antiviral or immunosuppressive therapy
- other liver disease besides hepatitis C
