Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- visually significant cataracts
- pre-operative visual acuity 20/50 or worse
- pre-operative optical coherence tomography (OCT) showing at least 250 microns central foveal thickness.
Exclusion
- macular ischemia
- vitreomacular traction
- macular hole
