- Patients attending Liver Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, ON, Canada
- Diagnosis of PBC
- Liver biopsy
- Antimitochondrial antibody (AMA) positive
- Elevated alkaline phosphatase (ALP)
- Parents and siblings and controls (friends and spouses of propositi)
