Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • informed consent
  • age 1-16 years
  • typical clinical symptoms for perianal dermatitis
  • positive perianal culture for GABHS

Exclusion

  • antibiotic treatment in previous 14 days
  • immunodeficiency
  • penicillin allergy
  • cephalosporin allergy
  • further bacterial infections
