Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • asthma plus or minus chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • ED visit for acute asthma treatment
  • age 19 years or greater

Exclusion

  • COPD without asthma
  • ED visit for asthma prescription renewal only
