Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Infants 0-6 months of age who require a thoracotomy for lung resection.
  • Parents accept the placement of an epidural catheter.

Exclusion

  • Premature infants
  • Patients allergic to fentanyl and/or bupivacaine.
  • Known medical contraindications. -
