Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Pain free patients to undergo major thoracic operation with both malignant and non-malignant diseases.
Exclusion
- Psychiatric or cognitive dysfunction precluding use of psychophysics
- Existing thoracic pain
- Patients who cannot communicate in Hebrew
