Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Pain free patients to undergo major thoracic operation with both malignant and non-malignant diseases.

Exclusion

  • Psychiatric or cognitive dysfunction precluding use of psychophysics
  • Existing thoracic pain
  • Patients who cannot communicate in Hebrew
