Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- age \> 18 years
- presence of liver cirrhosis
- evaluation for liver transplantation or transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt
Exclusion
- inadequate echocardiographic image quality
- allergies to echocardiographic contrast agents
- pulmonary valve stenosis
- pulmonary embolism
- relevant tricuspid regurgitation
- cardiomyopathy
