Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • significant pterygium clinically requiring excision
  • willingness to participate in research project and to attend research clinic

Exclusion

  • age \< 18 years
  • other concurrent corneal pathology
  • poor acuity due to other ocular pathology
  • poor general health
