Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Irritable bowel syndrome according to the Rome II criteria
- regular symptoms
Exclusion
- Use of probiotics last three weeks
- pregnancy
- lactation
- co-existing other gastrointestinal disorders
- use of laxatives and antibiotics within last 5 weeks.
