Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Cases with clinically significant macular edema (CSME) with persistent retinal thickening after initial or supplemental macular photocoagulation

Exclusion

  • Monocularity,
  • History of vitrectomy,
  • Glaucoma or ocular hypertension,
  • Significant media opacity,
  • Existence of traction on the macula
