Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • All procedures requiring thoracotomy including video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) be included.

Exclusion

  • Age less than 18 years
  • Inability to communicate in English
  • surgery in a position other than lateral ie. supine
