Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Current episode of low back pain
- mechanical origin
- Threshold low back pain level
Exclusion
- Contraindications to spinal manipulation or massage
- Complicating conditions that could confound clinical outcome
- Prophylactic use of prescription medication
- Health-related litigation, claims, or disability compensation
