Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- all patients between 17 and 70 who are diagnosed with intestinal failure awaiting intestinal/multivisceral transplant
Exclusion
- active systemic/abdominal infections
- incurable malignancy
- acquired immune deficiency syndrome
- severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency
- current alcoholism
- pregnant female
