Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Newly detected type 2 diabetes
- Fasting plasma glucose \>126mg/dl
- HbA1c \> 7%
Exclusion
- Serious comorbid illnesss
- History of drug abuse
- History of recent weight loss
