Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Age over 12 years
  • Symptomatic recurrent pleural effusion
  • Pneumothorax needing pleurodesis

Exclusion

  • Life expectancy \<1 month
  • Unwilling to give consent
  • Empyema
  • ICTD drain output \>150 ml/d
  • Presence of an airleak
