Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • \- HDL deficiency (HDL-cholesterol \< 5th percentile, age and gender-matched)

Exclusion

  • Triglycerides ≥ 5 mmol/L
  • Diabetes
  • Severe obesity (BMI ≥ 30)
  • Alcohol intake \> 21 drinks/week
  • Untreated disease (thyroid, hepatic or renal)
