Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Age 40 years and older
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Peripheral arterial disease
  • Leg symptoms

Exclusion

  • Myocardial infarction within 3 months of enrollment
  • Inability to walk for exercise secondary to chest pain, dyspnea, or poor balance
  • Prior major amputation
