Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Differentiated papillary thyroid carcinoma
- Undergoing total thyroidectomy plus central neck dissection
Exclusion
- Previous thyroid or neck surgery
- Patients with parathyroid diseases
- Other thyroid malignancies
- Early loss of follow-up without proper evaluation of postoperative serum calcium levels and symptoms
