- Referred to the Colposcopy clinic at Vancouver General Hospital, the MD Anderson Cancer Center, or the University of Texas at Austin
- Abnormal or normal Papanicolaou smear
- Hormone receptor status not specified
- PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Pre or post-menopausal
- Not pregnant
