Inclusion
- comprehension of English
- age 18 and older
- first-time stroke
- receiving in-patient rehabilitation at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, New York, NY
Exclusion
- hemorrhagic stroke
- brain stem or cerebellar infarct
- other pre-existing neurologic conditions
