Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • comprehension of English
  • age 18 and older
  • first-time stroke
  • receiving in-patient rehabilitation at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, New York, NY

Exclusion

  • hemorrhagic stroke
  • brain stem or cerebellar infarct
  • other pre-existing neurologic conditions
