Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- age \>70 years
- living in nearby municipalities
- able to walk 10 m before fracture
- medial, pertrochanteric and subtrochanteric hip-fractures
Exclusion
- nursing home residents
- expected to die within 3 months
- pathological fractures
