Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • bilateral age-related cataract
  • age 55 to 80 years
  • expected postoperative visual acuity of at least 0.5

Exclusion

  • amblyopia
  • corneal scars
  • diabetes
  • pseudoexfoliation-syndrome
  • earlier ocular surgeries or laser treatments
  • intraocular tumors
