Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age 50 years and older;
- Clinical fracture;
- Attending osteoporosis outpatient clinic for standard medical care.
Exclusion
- Disease of bone metabolism (e.g. bone tumours, hyperparathyroidism);
- Unwillingness to donate blood for DNA analyses;
- Failure of bone densitometry (DXA-scan).
