Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Diagnosis of sever primary mitral regurgitation
  • Normal subjects

Exclusion

  • Left ventricle ejection fraction of \<55% pre and post operation
  • Pregnancy or Lactation
  • Secondary mitral regurgitation due to coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, uncontrolled hypertension, or severe aortic stenosis.
