Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • morbid obese patient
  • scheduled for distal gastric bypass
  • informed consent for operation and study obtained

Exclusion

  • history of former small bowel resection
  • weight \> 150 kg
  • history of claustrophobia
  • general contraindications for MRI (pacer, joint prosthesis, ear implant, etc.)
