Inclusion

  • 16 years or older
  • Emergency department patients

Exclusion

  • \<16 years
  • Unable to provide consent (e.g., intoxicated, altered mental status)
  • Critical illness
  • Prisoners or detainees
  • Already known to be infected with HIV
  • Victims of sexual assault
  • Occupational exposures
