Inclusion
- Newly diagnosed, drug-naive patients with type 2 diabetes
- Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) 7.0-14.0 mmol/l
- HbA1c \> 6%
Exclusion
- Type 1 diabetes
- Liver failure
- Kidney Failure
