Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital patient
- recorded BG \> 300 mg/dL during the study data collection period
- admitted to general floor hospital units
Exclusion
- birth center
- intensive care units
- eating disorder unit
- pediatric patients \< 18 years of age
- patients receiving insulin infusions
