Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- 2 out of 4 SIRS criteria, where the circulatory criteria must be fulfilled
- Clinical sepsis is suspected
- Informed consent from relative
- Study subject must be over 18 years old
Exclusion
- Pregnancy
- \>24h post sepsis diagnosis
- Ongoing oral or intravenous cortisone treatment for more than one month.
- Malignancy with metastasis
