Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • Haemodynamically stable
  • Penetrating chest trauma
  • Informed consent signed
  • Over the age of 18 years
  • Fully conscious

Exclusion

  • Known coagulopathy
  • Traumatic septal defect
  • Haemodynamically unstable
  • No informed consent
  • Decreased level of consciousness
