Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- outpatient colonoscopy
Exclusion
- allergy to propofol , midazolam, meperidine, eggs or soybean
- history of colonic resection
- inability to understand spoken/written English
- dementia
- pregnancy
- unwillingness to participate in the study
