Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • clinical diagnosis of typical atrial flutter
  • signed written informed consent
  • eligibility for sedation and external electrical cardioversion

Exclusion

  • clinical diagnosis of arrhythmia other than typical atrial flutter
  • implanted ICD or pacemaker
  • proof of atrial thrombi
