Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Male and female patients, age 18 - 75
- Open abdominal, curative cancer surgery \> 2 h
Exclusion
- Pregnancy
- Chronic cortisone treatment
- Ongoing chemotherapy
- Acute infections, septic surgery
- Palliative surgery (e.g. debulking only)
