Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- type 2 diabetic
- regardless of diabetes duration and retinopathy severity level
- one or both eyes with CSME
Exclusion
- media opacities that prevented an adequate fast macular map from being acquired
- a thickened posterior vitreous
- any additional retinal disease
