Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • congestive heart failure

Exclusion

  • pregnant
  • hospitalized within one month
  • taking calcium, vitamin D or magnesium supplements
  • proteinuria \> 1g/24h
  • creatinine clearance \<35 (MDRD)
