  • Scheduled for colonoscopy as routine screening or for a specific problem
  • PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Not pregnant
  • PRIOR CONCURRENT THERAPY:
  • No concurrent participation in a clinical trial to treat cancer or prevent cancer recurrence
