- DISEASE CHARACTERISTICS:
- Diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia
- Normal karyotype
- Bone marrow and/or peripheral blood samples from patients treated on CALGB-19808 and registered on CALGB-9665 required
- No additional samples required
