- Radiographic or marker evidence of metastatic ovarian, breast, pancreatic, or colon disease
- Hormone receptor status not specified
- PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Menopausal status not specified
- No history of any prior cancer
- PRIOR CONCURRENT THERAPY:
- No prior therapy for metastatic disease
