Inclusion
- Candidates for non-emergency cesarean section
Exclusion
- Emergency cesarean section
- Known or suspected sensitivity to local anesthetics
- Pre-eclamptic toxemia
- Deranged liver function
- Deranged hemostasis
- Lack of adequate verbal communication
