Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- elective spine surgery
- \> 60 years old
- \< 5 hours of surgery
- microdiskectomy
- 1-2 levels of spinal laminectomies
Exclusion
- transfusions
- \> 5 hours of surgery
- \> 2 levels of laminectomies
- spinal instrumentation
