Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • African American by self-report
  • In good health

Exclusion

  • Diagnosis of diabetes
  • Health problems/medication affecting calcium and/or vitamin D metabolism
  • Current use of vitamin/mineral/herbal/nutritional supplements
  • Inability to swallow pills
  • Pregnancy
