Inclusion

  • Confirmed HIV infection
  • Accepted to participate in the study

Exclusion

  • Acute intercurrent infection
  • Treatment that modifies glucose or lipid profile
  • Pregnancy
  • Known diabetic patient
  • Chronic renal failure with calculated creatinine clearance \< 60ml/min
