Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • children less than 5 years of age,
  • children with no comorbidities and fever \> 38 for at least 24 hours, and
  • children with no previous antibiotic therapy.

Exclusion

  • HIV,
  • immunosuppressive conditions,
  • antibiotic therapy.
