Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- All patients undergoing elective colorectal surgery with anastomosis;
- Minimum age 18 years;
- Giving informed consent.
Exclusion
- Other causes of intestinal damage: eg. IBD, occlusive disease;
- Steroid use;
- Esophageal varices and other esophageal disease;
- Aortic valve disease.
