Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- primary, unilateral, total hip or knee arthroplasty by one of three surgeons using the same technique, and under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion
- Bilateral arthroplasty
- Revision arthroplasty
- General anaesthesia
