Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- uncontrolled persistent asthmatics on daily inhaled corticosteroids (GINA)
Exclusion
- viral/fungal/bacterial infection +fever (\<1 month)
- asthma exacerbation (\<3 months)
- other respiratory disease (CF, ciliary dyskinesia,bronchiectasis)
- cardiac patients using beta-blockers
